Born in Poland, she began to dance at the age 6 in her native town Szczecin. At the age of 10 she began her professional Studies at the National Ballet School in Warsaw. At the age 11 she perform at the National Theatre (Teatr Wielki) in Warsaw the leading part of the small Klara in "The Nutcracker" (chor. Gennadij Ledyakh).
Between 1980-1985 she was member of the Ballet Company of the National Theatre in Warsaw as a Principal Soloist. In 1982 she won a silver medal in the Polish Ballet Competition. At the same time, (1980-1984) she completed a Course of Study in Ballet Pedagogics at the Music Academy in Warsaw.
In 1985 she joined "The Hamburg Ballet" (Art.Dir.John Neumeier) in Germany, where she has been the Principal Soloist since 1987. She danced Solos and Principals roles in Ballets by; Friderick Ashton, George Balanchine, Maurice Bejart, August Bournoville, Jean Coralli/Jules Perrot, John Cranko, Mats Ek, William Forsythe, Kevin Haigen, Leonid Jacobson, Jiri Kilian, Serge Lifar, Jose Limon, Asaf Messerer, John Neumeier, Marius Petipa. In the season 2001/02 she danced as a guest Soloist with "The Hamburg Ballet".
In Hamburg she worked with following Ballet Masters; Boris Akimov, Truman Finney, Kavin Haigen, Irina Jacobson, Charles Mudry, Anatoli Nisnevich, Ilse Wiedmann a.o.
Since 1997 she worked as a guest Ballet Mistress among others; at the Dance Company Thoss in Kiel and in Hannover, at the Baviarien Ballet in Munich and at the English National Ballet in London.
In 2002 she finished the Master`s Work on the theme "Pregnancy and Dance".
